Press and Media Information

Members of the working press are invited to attend NAPE Expo and can receive complimentary registration.  In order to do so please complete the Press Registration Form so you will be able to pick up your name badge and materials at the Press counter onsite by providing photo ID and registration confirmation. 

 Requirements to apply for a Press Registration

  • Must be a member of the working press (examples: reporter, writer, editor, publisher, etc.)
  • Must provide a copy of press credentials at time of registration
  • Must be employed by a news organization that regularly covers the oil & gas industry, or be covering NAPE for the purpose of publication
  • Employees of media outlets who do not work in an editorial capacity are not qualified for a media badge, including: art directors, district managers, graphic designers, managers, marketing representatives, public relations personnel, sales representatives and senior level managerial staff

Travel and Accommodation Details

Take advantage of reduced accommodation and travel rates by using NAPE Expo discounts.  Registered media can receive accommodation, airfare and transportation discounts for airport shuttles and car rental services through select providers. 

On-Site Media Amenities

Located in the heart of thriving downtown Houston, the George R. Brown Convention Center (GRB) is in close proximity to many of the city’s attractions and entertainment venues. During the conference, NAPE will provide a private press suite at the GRB with wireless capabilities, work stations, beverages and snacks for use by the media.
