The Opportunity
We have an immediate opening for an experienced, well-rounded Contract Field Landman to join our growing team. We’re looking for a self-motivated professional who takes pride in accurate, thorough work, stays current on industry laws and regulations, and wants to keep building their expertise. What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll conduct comprehensive public records research and prepare clear, well-supported reports for due diligence projects and acquisitions. Regular deliverables include:
• Runsheets for drill site and division order title opinions
• Mineral ownership reports, including complex depth and interest severances
• Leasehold ownership reports with WI/NRI calculations
• Lease takeoffs
You’ll also support lease acquisition and curative work as projects require.
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience as a field landman
• 2+ years of HBP title experience
• Strong working knowledge of due diligence and acquisition processes
• Experience with lease acquisitions and curative work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Current AAPL membership
